Six sturdy snow figures stand together as a group. A projection brings them to life and gives them faces. Nothing fancy: two eyes, a dot for a nose, and a line for a moving mouth. Welcome to the theatre of the fictional town hall, where snow creatures have lived in peace and prosperity for generations. Here, snow is both a creative material and a resource necessary for survival. How to deal with its increasing scarcity is the subject of a heated, if frosty, debate.
Vero Róza Risnovska (SK, DE) is a theater maker, narrative designer, and researcher based in Berlin, Germany. Ronni Shalev (BE) is a film director and animator based in Brussels, Belgium.

Sechs robuste Figuren aus Schnee stehen als Gruppe beisammen. Eine Projektion erweckt sie zum Leben und verleiht ihnen ein Gesicht. Nichts Ausgefallenes: zwei Augen, ein Punkt als Nase und ein Strich als sich bewegender Mund. Willkommen im Theater des fiktiven Rathauses, in dem Schneewesen seit Generationen in Frieden und Wohlstand leben. Schnee ist hier sowohl kreatives Material als auch eine für das Überleben notwendige Ressource. Der Umgang mit seiner zunehmenden Knappheit ist Gegenstand einer hitzigen, wenn auch frostigen Debatte.
Vero Róza Risnovska (SK, DE) ist Theatermacherin, Narrative Designerin und Forscherin und lebt in Berlin. Ronni Shalev (BE) ist Filmregisseur und Animator und lebt in Brüssel.
