Constant questions the way in which we perceive and interpret race in regards to eyewitness memory. The work came from my interpretation of conversations held with Dr Richard Kemp and Helen Patterson from the Forensic Psychology department at the University of NSW. The subjects in Constant engages us by staring at the camera, their gaze is fixed and un-blinking. The work contains 13 subjects and 12987 composite faces generated by the computer. The figure imperceptibly changes race every 40 seconds.
