Walking-Seminar 1 / The plateau as a place of longing? with Maximilian Steiner

Whether we feel avant-garde or left behind, superior or inferior, we are always measured from a mostly unconscious place: the plateau? The aim of this allocated period of time is to pursue this question internally and externally using the means of inner mountain art. Innergebirgkunst translates the achievements of world art into forms that may be understandable locally.

Walking-Seminar 2 / Feeling, Acting, Learning with Andrej Radman

The concept of plateau challenges the alleged primacy of the ‘physical’ world. We engage with a world replete with capacities, tendencies and values, not with an aggregate of objects. In the Nietzschean tenor, there is no antonym for the word ‘value,’ and it certainly cannot be found in the word ‘fact’.

Walking-Seminar 3 / Plateau Flachau. A thousand traces in the Capitalocene

DAY 3 (Sat 27.1.24, 12pm, Alter Dorfplatz Flachau) with Judith Laister

The Walking Seminar "Plateau Flachau. A thousand traces in the Capitalocene" is dedicated to selected projects that have been realised as part of the minus20degree festival since its first edition in 2012. We visit significant locations and ask about the planetary and local traces that the projects follow and that they did, could or should leave behind. Particular attention will be paid to artistic commentaries on the relationship between humans and natures against the backdrop of the Capitalocene concept.

Matinée

Sunday 28.01.2024 at 11:00, the three experts will meet for a matinée at the minus20degree centre. They will share their experiences at minus20degree and reflect on the topic of plateau together with the audience

DE
