Frost, an exhaustion myth, is an excursion into an acoustically staged landscape based on the novel of the same title by Thomas Bernhard. Eight converging sequences attempt to transmit the oppression, the increasing exhaustion and growing insanity of the characters within the novel. The violence of the words is layered atop violent natural forces as well as the physical discomfort imposed upon the participating audience. The score transferred through headphones remains isolated and overlays itself with landscape and movement. These three elements entangle themselves into a synchronous experience of exhaustion.
